In the senior kindy room we look at encouraging children's independence as well as continuing learning, development and self help skills.

 

Activities include:

- flash cards for recognising names, shapes, numbers and colours

- role-playing scenarios within home corner

- throwing, catching and kicking balls to improve and develop hand-eye and foot-eye coordination

- large floor puzzles to build on cognition and thinking skills

- predicting, interpreting and analysing play based situations

- painting and creative experiences such as stamping, roller painting, spatulas and drawing

Role playing in home corner (top of pic) is great fun!

There are so many toys, I can build whatever I want!
