Whiz Kids was approved to administer the Government's Kindergarten Program in July 2010.

This includes the provision of the new Early Years Learning Framework or EYLF, which is a play-based method of teaching children 1-5 years old. It also uses a 'learning stories' approach, where the staff use the children's interests to guide the lessons and programming.

In our Kindergarten rooms (4-5yrs) we implement a kindergarten program similar to dedicated kindergartens such as C&K. This means that we run a typical kindergarten routine between 9am-3pm but within a Long Day Care Setting.

So, you can drop your children before 9 (we open at 6.30am) and pick them up later in the afternoon, instead of dedicated Kindergartens that have a strict 9.30am-2.30pm schedule. Also, because we are a registered service, you are able to claim both Child Care Benefit and the Child Care Rebate.
